Right now, this very minute...
someone is your superhero, or batman, or supermnan, or wonderwoman
someone is very proud of you
someone is thinking of you
someone cares about you
someone misses you
someone wants to talk to you
someone wants to be with you
someone hopes you aren't in trouble
someone is thankful for the support you have provided
someone wants to hold your hand
someone hopes everything turns out all right
someone wants you to be happy
someone wants you to find them
someone is celebrating your successes
someone wants to give you a gift
someone thinks you ARE a gift
someone hopes you are not too cold, or too hot
someone wants to hug you
someone loves you
someone wants to lavish you with small gifts
someone admires your strength
someone is thinking of you and smiling
someone wants to be your shoulder to cry on
someone wants to go out with you and have a lot of fun
someone thinks the world of you
someone wants to protect you
someone would do anything for you
someone wants to be forgiven
someone is grateful for your forgiveness
someone wants to laugh with you about old times
someone remembers you and wishes you were there
someone needs to know that your love is unconditional
somebody values your advice
someone wants to tell you how much they care
someone wants to stay up watching old movies with you
someone wants to share their dreams with you
someone wants to hold you in their arms
someone wants YOU to hold them in your arms
someone treasures your spirit
someone wishes they could STOP time because of you
someone can't wait to see you
someone wishes that things didn't have to change
someone loves you for who you are
someone loves the way you make them feel
someone wants to be with you
someone hears a song that reminds them of you
someone wants you to know they are there for you
someone is glad that you're their friend
someone wants to be your friend
someone stayed up all night thinking about you
someone is alive because of you
someone is wishing that you would notice them
someone wants to get to know you better
someone believes that you are their soul mate
someone wants to be near you
someone misses your guidance and advice
someone values your guidance and advice
someone has faith in you
someone trusts you
someone needs you to send them this letter
someone needs your support
someone needs you to have faith in them
someone needs you to let them be your friend
someone will cry when they read this
You are Everything To Somebody
To the world you are a somebody.

Build A Better Life
(taken from an article by Michael Clouse)
Design your year with the end in mind. Write everything you have ever wanted in life in 3 minutes. Choose the ten most important. Rewrite each in a present-tense sentence as if it were already reality. Be specific.
What you think about you bring about! Take actual photographs of all you want. Put them all out where you will see them every day. Look at them for a full 15 minutes everyday. Focus on what you desire.
Read books, listen to audiotapes that will draw you closer to what you want. Apply the knowledge.
Plan your work and work your plan. The Quakers say, "When you pray, move your feet"...go at it with all-out massive action. Set up your calendar. Decide in writing before you go to bed each night what six things you will do the next day.
With every decision you make ask yourself, "Will what I am considering push me further from or pull me closer toward my goals?" Only do those things that will draw you in the direction you've decided to go. Decide to act as the person you want to be. This will elevate your decisions to greatness.

by Linda Ellis
I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
From the beginning to the end.
He noted that first came the date of her birth
And spoke of the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years.
For that dash represents all the time
That she spent alive on earth
And now only those who loved her
Know what that little line is worth.
For it matters not, how much we own,
The cars, the house, the cash,
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.
So think about this long and hard;
Are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
That can still be rearranged.
If we could just slow down enough
To consider what's true and real
And always try to understand
The way other people feel.
And be less quick to anger
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
Like we've never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect
And more often wear a smile,
Remembering that this special dash
Might only last a little while.
So when your eulogy is being read
With your life's actions to rehash
Would you be proud of the things they say
About how you spent your dash?

MY silly habits, quirks and facts!
Well, my cousin Heidi Hiller tagged me, so now I will play along! I'm going to call this a bit of a work in progress as I want to add some photos and links to help organize my post. Hmmmm, maybe that should be #8 for me. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to writing, website building, blogging, etc...... I digress.
The rules:
A. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
B. Tag seven people to do the same.
C. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to do it".
(1) My first fact: I am a breast cancer survivor, since August 1996. I have struggled with different health issues since then, mostly my kidneys, but since then I also gave birth to 3 of my 4 children. (with the first child being born prior to 1996)

(2) My first quirk: I have to wear socks in the house. We do not wear shoes in our house, never have. This helps protect the flooring/carpeting etc.... The wearing socks has to be part of protecting the flooring as I've read articles that claim oils from human skin can break down the carpeting and help attract dirt to those areas. But I also enjoy having soft comfortable socks to slip into in the morning. It is also one of the first things I do in the morning!! I've been known to match or not match my socks, depending upon my mood.
(3) I have to wear pj bottoms/pants to bed with a nice cotton tee. I like to be extremely modest in my attire and I also tend to be quite warm, but I still will wear a nice cotton woven pair of pj bottoms with a nice comfy cotton tee for bedtime.
(4) I'm not sure which to classify this, as a habit.... a quirk..... or a fact.... or maybe all three!!! lol! I love to sew and use my different machines; create items for family, friends or sale over the internet. I have several different venues for my handmade items:
(a) www.thelaughingplace.etsy.com
(b) hyenacart.com/LaughingPlace/
(c) www.laughingplacebaby.com (my main website)
(d) www.ebay.com
(e) www.ecrater.com
(5) I love to journal and blog. Some information I journal I do not allow people to see, but for the most part it is on the web here or in other blog communities I participate in, such as:
(a) myspace.com
(b) blogger.com
(1) kim's ramblings
(2) laughingplacebaby blog
(3) kim's country cottage
(6) I have to go to bed with a clean kitchen and spotless sink. Even if this means all the dirty dishes are in the dishwasher. I do not, however, run the dishwasher and then go to bed. Too many bad experiences with this. I never trust any appliance, no matter how old it is.
(7) I love being with my kids -- as a matter of fact, I'm in love with my kids and everything they do! I have 4 and wanted more, but I do love the 4 I've been blessed with. My oldest, Dana, just turned 16 in October. My son, David, the only boy, is 9. Olivia, my 4th of July baby, is 7. My youngest, Elizabeth, is 4 and the only child with blue eyes! She'll let you know that too!
