Out with the old -- in the with the new (of course, when I said this to Santa, what I really meant was out with the old 2007 and in with the new 2008). Silly Santa misunderstood!

What did YOU get for Christmas?
Well, Santa is always more on the practical side and not so frivolous. On Sunday, December 23rd our water heater fried itself (my overly technical terms). So, Santa, being the Santa that he is - woke up early on Christmas Eve and proceeded to drive his red Ford Ranger to Lowe's and purchase a replacement water heater. Then he spent the entire Christmas Eve day installing the new heater and tearing down the old one. This, of course, required like 3 or 4 trips to Lowe's, not just ONE and wasted the rest of the day on water heater stuff instead of something a bit more romantic or spontaneous.
